Paint Brush Painting Technique 1: Preparing the Brush

Before applying any paint to the paint brush, firstly moisten the brush lightly with water. water will assist to repel the paint; and keep the paint from soaking into the brush. The water also helps in cleanup afterwards; making it much easier to clean the brush.
