To prevent fogging, here is the technique for bathroom mirrors and windows:
Slightly moisten the mirror; or window, with water. Place a little RainX on the window or mirror with a rag. Wait until dry; then, wipe off. RainX is available from your auto supply dealewr.

A better method is to use Glycerin; but, it is much easier wth RainX. I have used RainX since 1970. I never used my windshield wipers even in heavy rains. RainX was used on jet airliner windows originally.
